Totemay is the result of a chronic obsession. For years, I was the serial tee collector at gigs, the guy hunting down hard-to-find hoodies from small indie brands. I packed my closet with powerful, tattoo-inspired graphics, until that passion turned into one thought: build the thing I couldn’t find.
There’s a moment when you realize you have to pivot. No more excuses. No more “later.” The turning point hit out of nowhere, necessary and overwhelming. I walked away from the old routine with an I’M OUT, took the unpaved road, and reset everything to start from zero. No more time to waste.
Totemay is a work in progress, dust, noise, and ideas. We’re independent because we want to do things right, without anyone dictating what “works.” Every design has to earn its place, surviving overflowing trash bins and sleepless nights before it lands on quality garments built to last.
And here we are. We started with one simple rule: bring the aesthetic we love onto gear you’ll wear until it’s worn out. Everything that leaves this place passes the only test that matters, we have to want it in our own closet first.
